A New York ad agency has dropped its lawsuit against a midcoast blogger, according to court documents filed Friday.

Warren Kremer Paino Advertising LLC had sued Lance Dutson of Searsmont for libel, defamation and copyright infringement. Dutson, the author of a Web log, or blog, had been critical of the state of Maine's Web marketing campaign in his online writings. Warren Kremer has held the state tourism advertising contract since 2002.
